Council for Ensuring Technological Sovereignty to be organized in Belarus

The Belarusian government has adopted a decision to create the council on ensuring technological sovereignty. The Council will develop methods of innovative economic development, Sputnik reported.

The Council will identify critical technologies and goods, the development and modernization of which will help overcome Belarus' dependence on imports.

The Сouncil will also work to ensure technologies and goods that are important for the well-being of the population and competitiveness.
