COVID-19 is excluded from Belarusian list of dangerous diseases

The Ministry of Health has updated the list of diseases that are recognized as dangerous to the health of Belarus' residents. Minsk-News reported. The coronavirus is no longer on the list.

In Belarus, COVID-19 was included in the list of dangerous diseases in February 2020. The disease was removed from this list on February 17, 2023.

In addition to the coronavirus, gonorrhea and syphilis are excluded. Now among the dangerous diseases are anthrax, plague, cholera, tuberculosis, as well as Lassa, Marburg and Ebola fevers.

By the end of 2023, the Belarusian coronavirus vaccine will be registered.
