Czech Republic expressed its intention to support Belarusian students

The Ministry of Education in the Czech Republic announced that it intends to support Belarusian students who have become victims of political repression, tut.by reports.

Students from Belarus who have suffered as a result of taking part in the protests will be able to continue their studies at universities in the Czech Republic. The Czech Ministry of Education has allocated the funds to cover the cost of education of Belarusian students.

The Czech Ministry of Education will provide universities accepting students from Belarus:

5500 euros per student - when accepting new students;

550 euros per student - when accepting students for short-term internships.

Financial assistance will be provided both to students who have become victims of repression due to the participation in the protests, and to those students who are afraid to continue their studies in higher educational institutions in Belarus or have been expelled from universities.
