Draft Code of Civil Procedure is being created in Belarus

The draft Code of Civil Procedure of Belarus has been submitted for public discussion, the National Legal Internet portal reports.

The project is aimed to:

• create high-quality, understandable for judges and participants of the process single procedural regulation. It must meet the requirements and demands of society, as well as reflect the peculiarities of the Belarusian judicial system;
• standardize norms of civil procedural and economic procedural legislation.

The Code will regulate all types of legal proceedings. The Supreme Court of the Republic of Belarus is an organizer of the public discussion. Comments and suggestions can be made in a special topic at the Legal Forum of Belarus from March 15, 2022
