During reconstruction of the oldest cinema in Minsk, unusual painting discovered

The Pobeda cinema opened in Minsk in 1950. In January 2022, its reconstruction began. On one of the walls of the room where there was once a cafe, paintings were found under drywall, the Minsk-News agency writes.

The artist's name and year are visible at work. Apparently, it belongs to Roman Zaslonov, dated 1990. He is a Belarusian artist who has been living and working in France since the late 1990s. Roman Zaslonov has been repeatedly awarded various prizes and prizes from prestigious European galleries.

The fate of the wall painting is to be decided by the scientific director of the reconstruction.
