Elections in Belarus: how many signatures did the candidates collect?

On the 9th of August, the sixth regular election of the President of the Republic of Belarus will be held in Belarus. How the political situation is currently developing, reports tut.by.

In order to take part in election, candidates must collect a minimum of 100 thousand signatures in their support. Assistance in collecting signatures to candidates is provided by members of initiative groups.

At the moment, the situation is as follows:

Valery Tsepkalo - 119 thousand signatures;

Victor Babariko - 167 thousand signatures;

Natalia Kisel - 74 thousand signatures;

Sergey Cherechen - 75 thousand signatures;

Andrey Dmitriev - more than 60 thousand signatures;

Anna Kanopatskaya - 72 thousand signatures.

In addition, it became known that the current President of the Republic of Belarus collected about 1 million signatures in his support.

Thus, at the moment, the required number of signatures has been collected by 3 presidential candidates: Alexander Lukashenko, Victor Babariko and Valery Tsepkalo.
