Enterprises began paying days off due to poor health

Enterprises are introducing the practice of paying employees days off due to poor health. Now they do not to need provide sick leaves to have payments, BELTA writes with reference to the Federation of Trade Unions of Belarus.

In 2021, at the initiative of the Federation of Trade Unions of Belarus, regulations providing for additional guarantees to workers during the pandemic were introduced into Decree No. 143 on Economic support. It was fixed that if an employee felt unwell, the employer can release him from work for up to 3 days without providing a certificate of disability. Also, these 3 days can be paid.

In January 2022, some enterprises of the real sector of the economy began to establish rules for granting days off due to poor health, as well as the procedure for their payment.
