Entry to Russia from July 25 is possible only using the app "Traveling without COVID-19"

The Russian government has approved the mandatory use of the application "Traveling without COVID-19" when entering the Russian Federation from July 25minsknews.by reports.

Foreign citizens and stateless persons, as well as Belarusians, must present the result of a negative PCR test on the screen of their phones in the application "Traveling without COVID-19". The test must be done no earlier than three days before arrival on the territory of Russia.

The new rules will be introduced from July 25 for citizens of all countries, including Belarus, entering Russia from the territories of the EAEU member states through air checkpoints. An exception is made for persons entering Russia from third countries through the territories of the EAEU member states in transit or with a short-term stop.

The application "Traveling without COVID-19" is used to present negative results of PCR tests for coronavirus. With the help of the application's functionality, the test results are checked at the entrance to the country not only visually (the green color of the QR code). But also with the help of a standard QR code reader on any smartphone.

From September 1, the application "Traveling without COVID-19" will be mandatory when traveling to other countries.
