EPAM will be included in the S&P 500 index
On December 14, EPAM will be included in the S&P 500 index, which includes the 500 largest publicly traded corporations, dev.by reports.
The IT company will replace Kansas City Southern in the index, which was acquired by Canadian Pacific Railway Limited.
The S&P 500 is a stock index, the basket of which includes shares of 500 selected public companies traded on US stock exchanges with the largest capitalization. The index has been maintained by S&P since March 1957.
The market value of EPAM is around $33 billion, the company has risen in price by $15 billion over the year: in November, EPAM ranked 25th in the top 100 fastest growing companies.
EPAM became the first company associated with Belarus to enter the New York Stock Exchange. The company's capitalization now exceeds $ 30 billion.
