EPAM won't suspend working in Belarus

EPAM expects to continue working in Belarus and adhere to local business plans. Such information appeared in the company's report to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, devby.io wrote. We remind you that the Belarus' export of computer services has increased by 20%.

As of June 30, 2022, the company had $40.4 million in Belarusian bank accounts. At the end of March, this amount was $51 million. In the autumn of 2021, the company held more than $65 million in Belarusian banks.

EPAM's long-term assets in Belarus amounted to $64.4 million. In six months, their cost has decreased by $11 million (15%).

In the report, the company also said: "We expect to continue working in Belarus and implement our business continuity plans provided for the country."
