Eurasian Development Bank is interested in Belarusian biofuels

The Head of the Energy Directorate of the Eurasian Development Bank told reporters that Belarus has interesting technologies for generating electricity from biofuels. The bank's administration considers these technologies promising from the point of view of working with Belarus, BelTA reports.

The Bank is already working with the hydropower industry of Belarus. It has financed the construction of several small hydroelectric power plants and projects to improve the reliability of backup energy sources. The bank believes that financing projects for the extraction of energy from biofuels is possible in the near future.
