Eurasian Economic Commission simplified import of socially significant goods

The Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission has expanded the list of goods that can be released before filing a customs declaration, BELTA writes. We also wrote that an increase in prices for baby food has been approved in Belarus.

The release of goods before filing a declaration reduces the time between its import and sale or use in production.

The simplified procedure will apply to items used in the production of socially significant goods and of critical importance for the economies of the EAEU. This includes goods for the production of food products, light industry, electronics and others.

The decision of the EEC Council will enter into force in 10 calendar days from the date of its official publication.
