European Union ambassadors lay flowers in honour of deceased protester

On August 13, the ambassadors of the European Union countries, as well as representatives of the US embassy went to the Pushkinskaya metro station to lay flowers in honour of the killed one during the peaceful protests in Minsk, tut.by reports.

At the Pushkinskaya metro station, a spontaneous memorial was formed in honour of the deceased young man and all those who suffered during the protests from August 9 to 12. Representatives of the European Union and the United States came to express their solidarity with the victims of violence in Belarus. The European Union calls on the Belarusian authorities to release political prisoners and stop violence against protesters.

On August 14, a meeting of the Council of the European Union will take place, where it will be decided what measures should be taken against the Belarusian authorities.

Riots and protests throughout Belarus have been going on for the fifth day.

The people went on a termless strike until the authorities satisfied the demands for fair elections in the country and the release of political prisoners.
