"Eurovision-2020" was canceled

The Eurovision song contest, which was supposed to be held in the Netherlands in Rotterdam in may 2020, has been canceled, reports tut.by.

According to the organizers, in the past few weeks, they have studied many alternative options that would allow the Eurovision song contest to be held. This includes postponing the event or holding it without an audience.

But the uncertainty caused by the spread of the coronavirus across Europe, and restrictions imposed by the participating governments and the Dutch authorities, influenced the decision to cancel the competition.

Two issues are currently under discussion. Will the participants selected for this competition be able to perform their songs next year? And also whether it is possible that the 2021 contest will be held in the same Rotterdam. Decisions will be made later.
