Exhibition by Belarusian artist Mikhail Savitsky opened in Minsk

The Mikhail Savitsky Art Gallery has opened the "Mikhail Savitsky. Heritage" exhibition. It is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of an outstanding Belarusian artist, the Minsk-News agency writes.

The gallery has updated and expanded the permanent exhibition, as well as prepared an exhibition of works by students and followers of the artist. The anniversary exhibition covers the entire period of his work.

Mikhail Savitsky reflected the themes of motherhood, family, creative work, the war and Chernobyl tragedy, Christianity. His works are imbued with global universal ideas, raise eternal questions and reveal the secrets of the human soul.

The gallery is located on Ploshchad' Svobody 15.
Working hours: Wed-Sun from 11am to 19pm.
The exhibition will last until March 27. Tickets can be purchased at the gallery.
