Exhibition of armor opened in Minsk

In The Museum of History, which is located in the building of the Minsk City Hall, has opened an exhibition of armor and Belarusian blacksmithing, BELTA writes.

The exhibition will show the evolution of European military affairs from the XIV to the end of the XVII century. Visitors will be able to see swords, battle axes, daggers, shields, as well as authentic weapons of Belarus. All the armor presented at the exhibition is made according to historical samples.

The exhibition also demonstrates the manufacturing process of all items. A blacksmith shop has been reconstructed here. Tools made from authentic sources from different eras recreate the evolution of blacksmithing in the Belarusian lands.

The exhibition will last until June 15, 2022.
