Exhibition of coins will be held at BSU

The unofficial Money Day is celebrated on April 17. The exhibition of coins at the Belarusian State University will open some days before, the BSU website writes.

The exhibition will feature coins from 18 countries, including Belarus, Georgia, Israel, Italy, Kazakhstan, China, Serbia, Slovenia, Czech Republic. It will be possible to see collectible silver coins, jubilee rubles, and the currency of European countries before the appearance of the euro.

Professor of the Department of the History of Belarusian Literature of BSU will tell the story of money.  Also you will get to know interesting facts about the Chinese monetary system and African money in the form of shells.
