Expanded list of food embargo countries

The list of countries from which the import and sale of certain goods on the territory of Belarus is prohibited has been expanded, writes pravo.by with reference to the Resolution of the Council of Ministers of January 27, 2022 No. 51.

Two new countries have been added to the list: the Principality of Liechtenstein and the Republic of Serbia. This list also contains:

• The European Union and its member States;
• United States of America;
• Canada;
• Kingdom of Norway;
• Republic of Albania;
• Republic of Iceland;
• Republic of North Macedonia;
• United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland;
• Montenegro;
• The Swiss Confederation.

The ban applies to food products. The ban does not include products for the production of baby food, biologically active additives, medicines, vitamins, minerals, vitamin and mineral complexes, medical products.
