Exploitation of the largest sand deposit began in Belarus

Belorusneft has started the exploitation of the Davydovka-1 sand pit, which is located near the village of Sosnovy Bor in the Svetlogorsky district. This deposit is the largest of those that the company is exploiting, BELTA writes.

The area of the provided land plot exceeds 20 hectares. The sand reserves will last for 10 years of exploitation. The quality of sand has no analogues. It contains inclusions of gravel, which makes this natural material optimal for the construction of roads and well sites.
