Father's Day will be officially celebrated in Belarus

A new official holiday has appeared in Belarus – Father's Day. It will be celebrated on October 21, but there will be no official day off, CityDog.io writes. The proposal to establish Father's Day was made at the National Assembly on January 28 this year. The President supported the idea. He instructed the Government to develop an appropriate document. 

The date of October 21 was not chosen by chance. Mother's Day is celebrated in Belarus on October 14, and now it will be possible to hold a parent's week from October 14 to 21.
