Five Belarusian Boxers Reach U20 European Championship Semi-Finals

Five Belarusian athletes have secured medals at the U20 European Boxing Championships in Loznica, Serbia, after advancing to the semi-finals, BelTA writes.

Andrei Novik, Ramil Gurbanov, Bogdan Shashlykov, Nazar Stalchuk and Timofei Gapanovich will continue their campaigns for the top places.

Belarusian boxers Kristina Bontsevich and Daria Kravtsova were eliminated in the quarter-finals after losing to opponents from Russia.

The semi-finals are scheduled for August 20, while the finals will take place on August 21. The tournament has brought together boxers from 35 countries, including 14 representatives of Belarus.
