Flights to Russia are cancelled again

On the 1^st of August, air communication between Belarus and Russia should have been resumed, however flights are again postponed indefinitely, Citydog.by reports.

Despite the fact that flights between Belarus and Russia have already been added to the schedule of Belavia and Aeroflot, the flights may be cancelled again. The question of resuming flights between the countries depends on Russia, since the Federal Air Transport Agency has not given an answer on the timing of the opening of air borders yet. Nevertheless, Minsktrans is ready to resume flights.

At the moment Belavia announces the following dates of the nearest flights:

All points of Russia - after August 7;

Krasnodar and Sochi - after August 15.

The borders between Belarus and Russia have been closed since March 27, 2020.
