Forecast of Belarus' economic growth in 2023

Belarusian economy has demonstrated high manageability and stability in 2022 while under sanctions. It was possible to avoid serious economic losses largely due to integration with Russia, Sputnik reported.

In 2023, a common industrial policy with Russia will become the driver of Belarus' economic growth. The project will be approved in the near future.

Its key aspect is the recognition of technological operations carried out on the territory of the Union State (Russia and Belarus). This will make it possible to replace critical imports in such high-tech and high-tech areas as mechanical engineering, microelectronics, machine tool construction.

The experts also noted that according to forecast indicators, the Belarusian economy will show growth next year.

The Government of Belarus has made a forecast for GDP and inflation for the end of 2022.
