Foreign direct investment in Belarusian economy increased by 1.5 times
In the first half of 2022, foreign direct investment in the Belarusian economy increased by 1.5 times, Minsk-News reported. The economy received additional 4.3 billion US dollars.
Minsk, Minsk and Mogilev regions have become the key locations for accumulating foreign direct investment. And the main investor countries were Russia, Cyprus and the Netherlands.
The types of economic activities that received more investment were industry, financial and insurance activities, wholesale and retail trade, auto repair and construction.
In August, a new private cargo airline, Belcanto Airlines, appeared in Belarus.
