Forest Week to be held in Belarus

The Forest Week will be held in Belarus from April 9 to 16, 2022. New forests will be actively planted during this period, BELTA writes. The Forest Week has been held in Belarus since 2007.

In 2021, more than 6 million new trees were planted in the Minsk region. Of these, 70% were pine trees, spruce occupied 20%. Most of the green spaces appeared in the Stolbtsovsky and Vileysky districts.

Forest Week is an event in which everyone can participate. To do this, you need to contact the housing and communal services administration of your district.
