Forest Week will be held in Minsk region

During the Forest Week campaign in the Minsk region, it is planned to plant trees on an area of 720 hectares, BELTA writes. In total, about 4.5 million tree seedlings will be planted. Mostly it will be pine trees.

Also, during the campaign, it is planned to restore 26 recreation areas and collect garbage of more than 240 cubic meters.

Anyone can apply for participation. To do this, you need to contact the forestry department. All volunteers receive safety instructions, planting materials and tools.

In 2021, more than 6 million tree seedlings were planted in the Minsk region on an area of more than 1,000 hectares, and 33 recreation areas were restored.
