A large-scale retrospective of the works of the greatest French artist of the XIX century, Eugene Delacroix, has been presented in Belarus for the first time. The exhibition of 100 lithographs and engravings made in Paris and Leipzig in 1864, 1913 and 1928 will be held from April 1 to May 29, Citydog.by writes.

Delacroix is considered the main representative of French romantic painting style. The artist has always attached great importance to the work on the initial sketches. As a tribute to this approach, his sketches and drawings became the leitmotif of the entire exhibition.
