Gigafactory of batteries for electric vehicles my be built in Belarus

The Russian state corporation Rosatom is considering the creation of a gigafactory in Belarus for the production of lithium batteries for electric vehicles, Sputnik reported.

This is a full-cycle plant for the production of lithium batteries. Rosatom already supplies batteries for Belarusian electric vehicles.

Negotiations on the project are already underway. Most likely, the plant will be built in one of the free economic zones or in the Great Stone Industrial Park.
