Gold and foreign exchange reserves of Belarus today
The National Bank announced that in July gold and foreign exchange reserves increased by $ 61.8 million, tut.by reports.
According to statistics on the 1st of August, 2020, the international foreign exchange reserves of the Republic of Belarus amount to $ 8,857.5 million. In July 2020, reserves grew by 0.7%, amounting to $ 61.8 million. The main reason for the growth in the past month is the inflow of foreign currency into the state budget. The specialists note a decrease in the growth of reserves. In June 2020, the percentage of growth in gold and foreign exchange reserves amounted to 11.63 - $ 916.4 million.
In general, since the beginning of 2020, the gold and foreign exchange reserves of Belarus have decreased by 5.7%.
However, the Government plans to increase the volume of international foreign exchange reserves up to $ 7.3 billion by January 1, 2020.
