Gold of the Junior World Chess Championship

Belarusian chess players demonstrated impressive skills at the World Junior Chess Championship held in Tashkent, Belarus Today informs.

They won all four gold medals in the rapid and blitz disciplines. These achievements underline the high level of training and potential of young Belarusian athletes in the international arena.

International master Maxim Tsaruk and FIDE master Alexandra Tarasenko became champions in the rapid program. Their confident play allowed them to win gold medals in a hard-fought battle against the strongest rivals from all over the world.

The successes of the Belarusian chess players in the blitz program were no less significant: Denis Lazovik won the third medal, and Alexandra Tarasenko managed to win again, giving Belarus two gold medals.
