Government of Belarus presented a plan to support economy

The Government of Belarus has approved the plan to support the economy. The document was signed by the Prime Minister, Citydog.by writes.

The most important clauses in the document:

  • Businesses will be free from administrative punishment for first-time and unintentional violations.
  • Benefits and preferences similar to Russian ones will be available for HTP residents. They will also have a right for deferment from the draft.
  • Pensions and benefits will be indexed to the inflation rate.
  • Organizations will be eligible for subsidies for financial assistance to employees.

Belarus will also support exports, reduce customs duties on exports and imports and build new logistics chains for supplies. Import-substituting production facilities with Russia will be created. And enterprises that produce products not manufactured in Belarus and Russia will receive financial assistance.
