Half of private school students transferred to public schools

Approximately 1 thousand students who studied in private schools in Belarus have transferred to public schools, Minsk-News reported. This is almost half of all private school students in the country. In September, more than 8 private schools were deprived of their licenses in Belarus.

According to the Deputy Minister of Education of Belarus, most private schools were unable to obtain certificates of readiness for the new academic year and lost their accreditation.

Now there are about 250 public schools operating in Minsk. Education is free for everyone there. You can choose a school at your place of residence or in any area of the city if there are free places in the school.

In September, several scientific journals of BSU were included in the China National Knowledge Infrastructure database.
