High-speed train "Lastochka" between Minsk and Moscow
From April 30, a high-speed train "Lastochka" will run between Minsk and Moscow, tut.by reports. The journey time will take less than 7 hours.
The Russian Railways press service said that from April 30, the Russian Railways holding will appoint two pairs of new high — speed international trains "Lastochka" No. 717/722 and No. 721/718 Moscow-Minsk. "Lastochka" with the Moscow — Minsk service will run daily. Trains will depart from the initial and arrive at the final points on a mirror schedule twice a day.
The journey time is only 6 hours and 50 minutes, whereas on a regular train the same journey takes from 8 to 11 hours. So, trains No. 717/722 will depart at 6:20 and arrive at 13:10, making a stop in Smolensk. And No. 721/718 will depart at 16:00, and arrive at 22:55. Stops are planned in Vyazma and Smolensk.
On the route, high-speed electric trains "Lastochka" in the "Premium" configuration will run in a five-car version, where passengers will have access to two classes of service — business and economy.
Ticket price:
- first class tickets - about 80 rubles;
- second-class tickets - about 55 rubles.
The exact cost must be specified on the company's website.
For passengers with disabilities, there are wheelchair lifts, as well as specialized seats with a wheelchair mount and a call button for the conductor.
To get on the train, you need a PCR test with a negative result, passed no earlier than 72 hours before the trip.
