High-tech Park opened STEM-center in Drogichyn

Such centers will be opened throughout the country, belta.by reports. This is an initiative of the residents of the high-tech Park, who at their own expense help the education system, children

Secondary school N1 of Drogichyn became one of the winners of the competition "I Want to study in STEM-class". Students together with teachers and parents developed a project to use plastic as an additive in the production of asphalt. Experts have praised the work. 

Equipment for the center was supplied by the Association "Education for the future": 10 laptops, TV, sets of various constructors. Students have the opportunity to study robotics, programming, 3D modeling, site construction and other areas of IT. Children from all over Drogichyn district will be able to attend classes in STEM-center.

Now there are about 20 STEM-centers in Belarus. Next year it is planned to open 100 more in the regions.
