Home delivery of medicines. For the first time in Belarus

Network of pharmacies ADEL and "Dobrya Leki" launched the ability to order medicines online with delivery to the nearest pharmacy to the buyer, reports ej.by.

At the moment, Belarusian legislation prohibits home delivery of medicines, but the Ministry of Health is working on this issue. If the market is legalized, the pharmacy chain responds that they are ready to launch their own delivery services.

A paperless carrier system is being worked out, it means a pensioner can call the clinic and the doctor will write an electronic prescription. Over- the-counter medications can be ordered by phone or online with home delivery.

So far, it’s about pharmacies that have a stationary network, in particular, the distributor "Pharmatsia". Other major networks may also be able to join this system.
