How did food prices change in May?

These foods increased in price: meat (+1.3%), fish (+1.19%), milk and dairy products (1.74%), bread and bakery products (+5.26%), cereals (+5.53%), confectionery (+4.7%), Minsk-News writes. We remind you that Belarus has temporarily increased duty-free limits on the import of goods from other countries across land borders.

Vegetables and fruits have fallen in price by an average of 9%. Cucumbers (-40.52%), garlic (-28.55%), fresh tomatoes (-15.32%), sweet peppers (-12.26%), apples (-11.19%), pears (-25.49%), grapes (-28.74%), bananas (-11.02%).

Non-food products in May became more expensive by an average of 1.4%.
