How will the traffic in Minsk change during the holidays?

Traffic will be restricted on a number of road sections in Minsk on May 9 due to Victory Day celebrations, the Minsk-News agency writes. Also, traffic will be blocked on some streets from May 6.

Restrictions on May 6 — in the area of Victory Square from 11AM to 12PM.

Restrictions on May 7 — from 11AM to 12PM, traffic will be closed on Niezalieznasci Av from Oktyabrskaya Square to Victory Square.

Restrictions on May 9:

• from 11AM to 12PM— traffic on Niezalieznasci Ave from Lenina Street to prospekt Masherova.
• from 11AM to 12PM — Kiseleva Street – from Krasnaya Street to Victory Square – and Zakharova Street – from Victory Square to Pervomaiskaya Street. A detour is organized on this site.

During the concert period, from 9:30PM to 11PM, traffic will also be restricted in these areas.

Traffic may also be restricted near Yanka Kupala Park, Pavlov Park, on the embankment in the Drozdy district, in Hugo Chavez Park, at the sites near the Chizhovka Arena and the National Library.
