HTP and China strengthen technological cooperation

The Hi-Tech Park (HTP) hosted an official delegation from the Chinese city of Karamay, led by First Deputy Mayor Yu Xinge, Belarus Today writes.

The main purpose of the visit was to explore opportunities for cooperation in the field of high technologies.

On the Belarusian side, the discussions were led by Alexander Martinkevich, Deputy Head of the Secretariat of the HTP Supervisory Board. He emphasized the park’s openness to collaboration with Chinese partners and highlighted the strong potential for joint innovation projects aimed at strengthening technological ties between the two countries.

The delegation was introduced to the park’s history, infrastructure, and the legal and economic conditions available to IT residents. Belarusian IT companies and representatives of the business community from the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region also joined the meeting to exchange ideas on future business and tech partnerships.
