HTP exports set a record of $2 billion 735 million
For 2020, the Hi-Tech Park increased exports, the amount was $ 2 billion 735 million, reports Onliner. The growth rate was 125%.
Basically, the sale of IT products and services of HTP residents was carried out in the United States and EU countries. The western market accounted for about 90% of the export of HTP residents.
The top 5 partner countries include the United States, Cyprus, Great Britain, Ireland and Russia.
The total volume of production in 2020 amounted to 7 billion 400 million rubles with a growth rate of 143%. And the share of HTP in Belarus' GDP exceeded 4%, and 1.5% of all those employed in the country's economy work in the Park.
The residents of the Hi-Tech Park have increased tax deductions to the budget by more than a third, in 2020 they amounted to 418 million rubles (an increase of 138%). In addition, over 10 thousand new jobs were created over the past year. The total number of employees of the Park is now almost 70 thousand people.
Last year, 236 new residents joined the Park, and in March 2021 - another 65. Thus, the HTP already has 1,021 companies.
The volume of direct foreign investments last year amounted to $ 331.7 million (an increase of 126%). The HTP was replenished with 23 development centers of foreign corporations, and there are now 107 of them.
