HTP paid record amount of taxes for first quarter of 2022
Residents of the Belarussian Hi-Tech Park paid BYN230 million in taxes for January-March 2022. This is 1.5 times more than in the same period last year, writes devby.io. Yesterday we wrote that one of the residents of the Park opened a student IT laboratory in Gomel.
This is the new tax record of the Park. Prior to that, the largest tax revenues from the Park were in the second quarter of 2021 — BYN200 million. The new record exceeds by 15%.
The share of HTP in the total amount of taxes paid to the consolidated budget amounted to 2.8% in January–March. In the first quarter of 2021, the share was 2.3%.
It is possible that the tax deductions were affected by the growth of salaries due to exchange rate fluctuations and re-deposit bonuses. In February, the average salary in IT in rubles increased by almost 50% and amounted to a record 8.8 thousand rubles (before taxes). In March, the average salary fell relative to February.
