Humanitarian aid from China

A plane carrying humanitarian aid from the People's Republic of China landed at the Machulishchi airfield. The Chinese government has given us 300 thousand Chinese vaccines against COVID-19, sb.by reports.

The medicine was developed by China National Biotec Group, a division of the largest Chinese pharmaceutical corporation Sinopharm. Recall that in February, China gave Belarus 100 thousand doses of this vaccine. Now another 300 thousand doses have arrived. They will be enough to vaccinate 150 thousand people. In the near future, the new batch will be delivered to the country's clinics.

Official documents on the transfer of the vaccine were signed on May 18 by the Minister of Health of Belarus Dmitry Pinevich and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to Belarus Xie Xiaoyun.
