In 2021, $78 million was allocated to healthcare institutions in Minsk

In 2021, BYN196 million ($78 million at the exchange rate as of December 1, 2021) was allocated to strengthen the material and technical base of healthcare institutions in Minsk, the Minsk-News agency writes.

In 2021, three large healthcare facilities were opened in Minsk: two buildings of the Minsk Scientific and Practical Center of Surgery, as well as the building of the City Children's Infectious Clinical Hospital. This made it possible to improve the quality of medical services provided, the level of diagnosis of diseases and introduce new medical technologies.

Also in 2021, work on the modernization of nine facilities was completed. In total, design and construction work was carried out at 38 facilities in Minsk.
