In 2021, Belarus' food exports increased by 15%
The enterprises of Belgospishcheprom increased exports by 15% in 2021, BELTA writes. This was stated by the deputy chair of the concern Alexander Yakovchits at the opening of the Food Prom Consulting business forum.
In China, the growth rate was 160%, in the European Union — 107%. Supplies to the Persian Gulf countries have also increased. These are very good results, the chairman of the concern believes. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, many countries give priority to local producers.
The Belarusian State Concern of the Food Industry is the main producer of food in Belarus. It pursues a unified economic, technical and technological policy in the food industry, which includes more than 20 sub-sectors.
