In 2021, five main tasks completed in Healthcare of Belarus

The Minister of Healthcare of Belarus said that the tasks set for the healthcare system for 2021 have been completed, the National Legal Portal writes.

The first task was to ensure the functioning of the healthcare system. This concerned not only the fight against coronavirus infection, but in general planned and emergency medical care. The second task was to develop infrastructure. Last year, 27 large healthcare facilities were opened in Belarus.

Also, in 2021, the provision of doctors to 1 thousand of population increased. In addition, an updated law on healthcare was adopted. As well as amendments and additions to the Constitution. They highlighted Belarus' priorities in the field of healthcare: accessibility, quality and free medical care.
