In 2021, record number of shrubs planted in Minsk

In 2021, 479 thousand shrubs were planted in Minsk, which is a record number. In second place is 2019, when 325 thousand bushes were used for landscaping the city, the Minsk-News agency writes.

In 2021, 54.7 thousand trees were planted in Minsk. This is 3 thousand more than in 2020. Also in recent years, control over the demolition of green spaces has been strengthened. As a result, the number of trees removed in the city has been decreasing for 2 years in a row.

Young landscape designers created sketches of green compositions that will decorate the city in 2022.
