In 2021, the average salary in the Minsk region was $572

In 2021, real wages in the Minsk region amounted to BYN1432. Compared to 2020, salaries increased by 5.2%. The growth rate was 115.2%, BELTA writes.

In total, 677 thousand people were employed in the economy of the Minsk region in December 2021. Compared with the indicator for December 2020, the number of employees decreased by 0.8%.

At the end of December 2021, the number of unemployed was 509 people. This is 36.1% less than at the end of December 2020.

Salaries in budget organizations increased by 5.1% compared to 2020.
