In 2021, the average salary of doctors was BYN2,2 thousand

In 2021, the average monthly salary of doctors in Belarus was BYN2.2 thousand ($880 at the exchange rate as of December 1, 2021), the Minsk-News agency writes with reference to BELTA.

In 2020, the average monthly salary of healthcare workers was BYN1.33 thousand ($520), for specialists with secondary medical education was BYN 1.37 thousand ($540). In relation to 2020, the growth of real wages in 2021 amounted to 6.5%.

The ratio of the average monthly salary of healthcare workers to the average monthly salary in the country in 2021 was 93.1%.
