In 2022, 440 new elevators will be installed in residential buildings in Minsk

In 2021-2025, BYN95.5 million ($32 million) will be spent on replacing elevators in Minsk, the Minsk-News agency writes.

In 2021, 354 new elevators were installed in Minsk. It is planned to install 440 in 2022. In four years, from 2016 to 2020, in total 6,188 elevators were replaced in the housing fund of Minsk, which had worked out the standard 25-year period. In the period from 2021 to 2025, it is planned to modernize 1,513 elevators and to spend BYN95.5 million ($32 million) on this.

According to the project, 4 months are allocated for the replacement of the elevator, but in most cases the actual repair period is 2.5 months.
