In 2022, joint work on scientific and technological projects of Russia and Belarus will begin

It is planned to start implementing three new scientific and technological programs of the Union State in 2022, BELTA writes. Last year, Belarusian and Russian scientists worked on four joint programs.

The first program concerns the development of elements of orbital and ground-based facilities for multi-satellite groupings of small-sized spacecraft that will conduct observations of the Earth's surface and near-Earth outer space. The second project is the development of intelligent, high-tech digital and electronic components and systems for special and dual-use vehicles. Specialists will also work on on-board electronics systems.

The third project is the development of technological processes for obtaining functional materials for high-performance photonics products. They will bring specialists closer to the creating of laser technology for processing various materials.
