In 2022, more than 400 new production facilities opened in the Vitebsk region

More than 400 new production facilities started operating in the Vitebsk region in 2022, BelTA reported. Of them, more than 100 work in the production sector, the remaining 300 work in the service sector.

In total, more than 2.6 thousand people work at production facilities in the Vitebsk region. 

In addition, the modernization of large enterprises of the food, light industry, pharmaceuticals, mechanical engineering, petrochemicals will continue, where new jobs will be created this year.

In addition, China is investing 300 thousand US dollars for the construction of a second electrical substation in the Great Stone Industrial Park.
